Less tension. Less stress.
Massage is one of the easiest ways of attaining and maintaining good health. Headaches, insomnia, stress and tension can be alleviated by this ancient healing technique. In addition, massage can improve circulation, aid digestion and helps to maintain a good mood.
We offer several modalities of massage from which to choose, in order to ensure that you receive the treatment most suitable to your needs. As your massage begins, your therapist will ask if you are experiencing areas of discomfort (such as aching feet, sore shoulders, etc.). We encourage you to communicate freely with your therapist, to help achieve the best results. In addition, please feel free to let your massage therapist know if you require either lighter or deeper muscle massage. "Deep" has an individual meaning for each client, and we would like to find a level of massage that is most beneficial to you. These exceptional massage therapists are available to meet your needs.

Heather offers men and women a variety of traditional massage services such as Swedish, deep tissue, injury treatment, and sport massage. She specializes in pre/post natal massage.
Massage is defined as a treatment that involves rubbing or kneading the muscles, either for medical or therapeutic purposes or simply as an aid to relaxation. The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being. Pregnancy massage is a very specific practice.
From the moment of conception until the delivery of the baby, this specially adapted massage will help mother and unborn child prepare emotionally and physically for the birth. Many hormonal changes are taking place throughout this time and you will most probably be suffering from the changes affecting your body. Posture is especially important as your child continues to grow as your body naturally adjusts. Maintaining good posture is essential to avoid unnecessary symptoms such as backache as well as helping with your own and unborn child's well-being. Safe for both mom and baby, research shows that massage promotes healthier moms, shorter and less traumatic labors and healthier babies. Women who receive regular massage have measurably reduced levels of stress hormones and report less mood swings and physical discomforts. Regular massages during pregnancy can also shorten labor time and make the return of your optimal fitness easier. During labor, massage is an effective pain relief tool. Incidentally, doctors all agree that a relaxed mother will have a happier, healthier pregnancy and possibly an easier childbirth experience, too.
Benefits of Pregnancy Massage:
Massage can be used during the birth to make it easier and more comfortable for mom, and after the birth to help her regain her strength more quickly and ease postpartum stress. Postpartum massage specifically helps women recover from pregnancy, labor and birth, as well as adjust to new aches and pains and an often very stressful time.

Licensed therapeutic massage helps to reduce tension, stress, and fatigue. It relaxes muscles and other soft tissue, realigns ligamentous tissue, reduces adhesions, and increases circulation. It also eliminates wastes in the tissues, and increases strength and mobility. We offer several types of massage therapy including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Injury Treatment, and Pregnancy massages.
Wholistic Bodywork incorporates healing modalities from both western and eastern medical approaches, combining massage therapy with energy healing including acupressure, cranial-sacral therapy, and Reiki.
This combines elements of acupressure, hypnotherapy, Reiki, polarity therapy and massage to help individuals reintegrate emotional experiences, release trauma, and heal cellular memory. Work can be performed as massage work (unclothed) or counseling (clothed) while lying on a comfortable massage table. Many therapists refer their patients to this type of integrative work if they need additional help in working with release of abuse or other trauma from the body.
Using a non-directive, loving approach, this type of hypnotherapy can help release traumas, help transform self-esteem issues, fears and phobias. It is also effective in addressing grief/loss, body image issues, addictions, performance anxiety, pain control, and anxiety over pain. The patient is in total control of the process and can remember everything that happens during the session, unless they request not to.
This work uses body centered therapy, open and closed eye trance techniques, and art therapy in individual's sessions to help heal issues related to abuse recovery, grief/loss, dissociative identity disorders, phobias, and past life regression. In couple's therapy, communication is emphasized, using the non-traditional Ego Analytic Model.
Body-mind acupressure treatment uses acupuncture meridians and 'strange flows' combined with body-mind counseling to facilitate healing of the body, mind, soul, and spirit.
